Ilmor Engineering Ltd. is pleased to announce that it will be exhibiting at the 2009 Engine Expo in Stuttgart, Germany from 16th-18th June.
Visitors to the Ilmor stand will be able to see the intricately detailed 800cc Ilmor MotoGP engine and Ilmor MotoGP bike as ridden by Jeremy McWilliams and Andrew Pitt. Ilmor are also excited to present a new cutaway version of the Ilmor 5-stroke concept engine allowing visitors to see, understand and interact with the ingenious inner workings of the highly fuel-efficient engine. Several examples of machined castings and machined-from-solid components will give visitors and professional buyers an excellent idea of the precision machining capabilities at Ilmor which can be utilised by racing and OEM customers alike.
Our knowledgeable team of engineers on the stand will be happy to explain more about the day-to-day operation of the high performance engine company and how it is diversifying the business to apply racing know-how to provide solutions for roadcar, marine and military applications. Visitors to the stand can also discover how clients can benefit from the services offered by Ilmor, from the design and development of individual components through to whole engines, as well as the highly accurate engine test facilities which can be hired for durability, performance and emissions testing.
