The role

You will be working closely with the electronics and mechanical engineering departments in the design and prototype manufacture of wiring harnesses, ranging in size and complexity from small adapter pieces to full race car systems. In addition you will be responsible for assembly and test of many of the electronic devices designed and manufactured in-house. Your experience of the harsh racing car environment will allow you to proactively contribute to the robust design of all of Ilmor’s racing electrical and electronic systems.

Other duties will include testing of suspect components, reporting to the design departments on the test results and making recommendations to improve system reliability.
