Design Development
In addition to our complete engine design service Ilmor are also able to design individual engine components for clients. Our racing know-how means that we understand the importance of short lead times, attention to detail, design for manufacture, tightly controlled tolerances and how to utilise the latest material technology. Combine this with our component analysis capability and you have a powerful mix of high-performance, lightweight yet durable components.

Individual engine components will be designed on our CATIA V5 3D CAD system and full engineering drawings produced to enable the part to be precisely manufactured. Drawings and 3D data can either be supplied to our clients for manufacture or alternatively clients can utilise our own in-house machining experience and extensive supplier network.
