Right from its beginnings, Ilmor has had one of the finest manufacturing facilities that exist in racing. The new Ilmor is proceeding down the same well-proven path.
Our facility is ideally equipped to carry out short runs of prototypes to medium sized batches for mainstream automotive customers. The Manufacturing Engineering department will work from your drawings and CAD data to create machine toolpath programmes, source the relevant tooling and design bespoke fixtures to ensure your job is machined in the most efficient way.
In addition to the equipment held at Ilmor in the UK, Ilmor Inc in the US have several new machines, which together make up a leading technology piston manufacturing cell.
