Coupled with our extensive development experience, we have worked hard at providing ourselves with some of the most accurate engine testing facilities in the world, a vital part of measuring fine performance differences on engines which are already at the top of their capabilities. Air inlet temperature, pressure and humidity are controlled by a combustion air handling system ensuring that test results are accurate and repeatable.

Our dynamometer facilities can be hired out so that clients may test their own engines. Ilmor can provide design support to carry out the initial engine installation work and will provide as much or little engineering support as is required to support the testing and ensure the client achieves their desired objectives.
