The ideal candidate will have the ability to create effective methods of manufacture, working with designs for small batch, high end manufacturing and one-off prototype activity. Additionally, you will be expected to problem solve and work directly with the team in the Machine Shop, to resolve technical issues and build a professional interface with Designers, Buyers, and Customers.
You should be able to demonstrate:
• Relevant Engineering HNC / HND / Degree
• Extensive experience of Programming CAD / CAM / CATIA V5, Hypermill, Vericut
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, preferably Motorsport (alternatively Automotive or Aerospace)
• Familiarity with components machined from solid or castings in multi-Op setups
• Design of suitable fixtures and bespoke tooling
• Code Generation for complex Mill Turn Components
